Yesterday I gave some great rides to many individuals from all over. A topic of discussion with a few of my riders was traveling out west. With 2025 approaching there are so many amazing places to travel to out in the Western portion of the United States. Here are some amazing experiences to travel to out west and add to your travel plans for 2025. Plus many of these stops were recommended to me by post-it note.
New Mexico offers so much with the desert and Hatch chili's this state has some amazing stops. One place to add is the Petroglyph National Monument. Located in Albuquerque it offers a step back in time with the etchings on the rocks by the Native Americans.
Arizona is an amazing stop with so much to see. From north to south this state has so much to offer. One stop to add is Monument Valley located in the Northwestern area of Arizona on the Navajo Tribal Park. The park is amazing and a sunset view is a must.
Colorado has plenty of stops but one place to add is Garden of the God's. Located in Colorado Springs this Park offers amazing hiking and climbing with spectacular views of the park. I found late May as a great time to visit this area.
Idaho is usually overlooked but a stop in Idaho Falls is a must. Located about an hour and a half away from Yellowstone with hotel prices about 75% cheaper than Jackson Hole it's a great town . Plus if you're into Fly fishing check out Jimmy's Fly Shop they offer all sorts of resources for fly-fishing the South Fork of the Snake River nearby. If you're going to Yellowstone stop by the Slippery Otter Pub for an amazing dining experience near West Yellowstone.
Montana is always on everyone's list. The town you'll want to add is Bozeman. The town is amazing with great shopping and dining. Located only an hour and a half from Yellowstone you'll get your central Montana experience here. For fly-fishing check out Montana Troutfitters. Dining add MacKenzie River Pizza Company and Copper Grill and Bar.
These are some incredible stops that were recommended to me by post-it note. Some of these areas I look forward to visiting again in 2025 with some new stops as well. #ridingwithkurt
